For the first time at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille in France, in extraordinary collaboration with the Musée du Louvre, an exhibition dedicated exclusively to the egyptian pharaoh Sesostris III.
The exhibition will bring together 300 pieces, of which 200 are from the most important museums in the world and 100 from the excavations carried out by the University Lille III. Among the many museums that cooperate in the exhibition include: the Musée du Louvre in Paris, the British Museum in London, the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an exhibition of contemporary art works on the theme of life after death and old photographs dedicated to the adventure of the archaeological excavations.
